Josh enters the international stage of chili growers and indoor chili growers with a lot of enthusiasm, courage and know-how. What began as a hobby quickly developed enormous potential, not least due to Josh's in-depth knowledge and fascination with the Capsicum genus.

In 2022, the first successful xenotransplantation of a heart from a pig to a human was achieved, a chip with molecular circuits in single-molecule sensors was introduced, astronomers published a possible image of the black hole at the center of the Milky Way and very important to know, Borderland Peppers became a reality!

Just one year later, it was time to give the project more space and even more technical professionalism. He expanded his team with Miggu and Philipp and subsequently moved his plants to the new Chiliheaven. One of the most unique chili cultivation facilities in Europe was created on an area of around 100m2. Technologically sophisticated, the perfect climate for growing a wide variety of chili varieties is created here. Quality and quantity at a level that is unparalleled. Borderland Peppers is setting new standards with this project.

In the smallest of spaces in his apartment, he created an almost optimal artificial climate for the cultivation of the finest and rarest chili varieties from all over the world and in no time he had made a name for himself in the international chili scene with his project.
